For 16 days and nights, we will travel to Thailand, take a train through Cambodia and backpack the bays of Vietnam! We are PUMPED UP for this adventure together. We are in the planning stage of what we will do and the sights we will see, but these are some of our top picks! We are planning to take a cooking class in Thailand where you can go into the fields with the Thais, pick your own vegetables and later cook your own curry with their expertise in curry leading the way! Needless to say, Derek is excited! And Anlee knows that she will have at least one meal that she can eat entirely! (Peanut butter is making the trip with us!) Our plan is to take a train through Cambodia stopping by Angkor Wat before the Cambodian government closes it to tourists due to damage by so much tourism. We will take trains, buses, planes and boats to get to Vietnam where we are hoping to stay overnight in a boat in Ha Long Bay. Riding elephants, visiting beaches, learning about new cultures and eating some freaking yummy food is all in store for us on our adventure!
