A Little Bit of Everything

Okay, I haven't been blogging, but here goes an attempt to update you somewhat on what we've been doing. Derek and I use our blog instead of mass email to keep the family and network of friends involved in our life here in Midland...so here are some of the top moments that I can think of, short and simple...

Our First Thanksgiving in America together. 

I make the BEST nutella, banana, peanut butter pie in the world!

We found an apartment that we hope to move into December 9th.

The Bozeman's came to Midland!

ANLEE GOT A JOB! Animal Adoption Agency! YES! 

Our Christmas cards were hijacked from a UPS Truck!

Black Friday was spent at HOBBY LOBBY.

I've actually used 2 Pinterest recipes a week!

Derek went hunting for the first time, watched a hog being skinned and then ate it. 

We made friends our age.

We've survived two wind storms, saw an actual tumbleweed and witnessed rain in Midland. 

We drove 2 hours to eat at our favorite restaurant, Jimmy Johns. 

Derek was loaned a MASSIVE truck, nicknamed The Monster (Chevy Avalanche).

WE BOUGHT A COUCH!!!!

Bring on December! We are ready for the festivities and fun. Derek is incorporating Christmas music into the worship service, I'm making Christmas ornaments for Children's church, and we are loving life in our church! Now, family and friends, join us in Midland for a warm Chrsitmas. LOVE, us
