Hi, we are Derek and Anlee Fekkes, newlyweds living in South Korea. Our journey began in 09', when, separately, we both decided to go on a refreshing adventure in South Korea. Derek - a worship leader from Seattle - had been in Korea for three weeks and Anlee - a health care trainer from Atlanta - had been in the country for one week when we met at Dongsan church. Three weeks later we were hanging out, starting guitar lessons and hiking. A week later we started a bible study together; a week after that we took a trip with friends and got to know each other better. One month later we were dating. Six months later we were engaged. Two months later we were married. Now, we are back in Korea teaching ESL to middle and high school students and learning how to be husband and wife.
